Chinese New Year (or Lunar New Year) is in a few days so we have our red lanterns hung around the house. These small ones hang on my pot rack light fixture in the kitchen and look pretty with the light shining through them.

This is my living, growing, goo of bubbles that feeds us daily; otherwise known as sourdough starter. Many yummy, healthy things are made from my sourdough starter; today it is english muffins.
